Del Morton
You can spot Del and Dorie Morton, sitting toward the front, right hand side of Jesus at any 8 am worship service at Grace. If you have never met them, introduce yourself- to many, they are a blessing to call friend. Del and Dorie Morton have been members of Grace since August 7th of 1990 and have faithfully served their Lord in many capacities; Human Care Ministries, Deacon, Church Council VP, Church Council President, Elder and Council member just to name a few. For the past few years, the Morton’s have hosted an Apple Seed Dinner at their home- a fundraiser that benefits children in need of tuition assistance and who otherwise, would not be able to receive the amazing Christian education of Grace Lutheran School. “Del is a special gift to us here at Grace. He loves Jesus and shares that love with everyone he meets. His desire in both his personal and professional life is to help people come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. ” Says Senior Pastor Jim Young. The Morton’s are indeed nothing short of amazing people. Our Grace family is better, blessed and thankful because they are here.
