Greetings and Blessings!
I feel very privileged and blessed this year
serving as Grace Lutheran Church and School’s
PTF President. My prayer is to maintain a
servant’s heart and let God use me in all the
ways He has planned. Our PTF Board has
some big shoes to fill as those who have gone
before us paved the way serving our cherished
school, and accomplishing many great things. It
is always amazing to me what we can achieve
together, using our gifts and talents to God’s
glory. No doubt Grace holds a special place in
my heart and the fact that our children can pray
together, learn about Jesus and inherit a staff
so fully dedicated to the education of the whole
child, is simply priceless. As we dive into the
08-09 school year, I realize what an awesome
group of people we have on our board, and look
forward to the differences we will make
together.
Michelle Rivera - Vice President
My name
is Michelle Rivera, and I am your PTF Special
Events Coordinator. My husband and I are members
here at Grace Lutheran, and our daughters both
attend school here. Bella is off to a great
start in second grade, and Lilah just started
preschool. This is my second year serving in
this position on the PTF board, and it has been
a wonderful opportunity to become meaningfully
involved in my children’s school life. As
Special Events Coordinator, I recruit and
oversee committee chairs for all of our
fundraisers, special activities and events, and
for ongoing programs like Box Tops for Education
and Family Service Hours. I also recruit and
coordinate Room Parents for grades K-8.
We have lots of fun activities and events
planned throughout the school year, and there
are many opportunities for parents to become
involved with our school events. If you’re
interested in volunteering for an event, I’d
love to hear from you!
I look
forward to seeing you around campus, and I wish
everyone a happy and blessed school year.
Cathy
Kopf - Finance
My name
is Cathy Kopf and I am proud to be serving again
on the PTF board. This is my third year as the
treasurer. My daughter is in sixth grade this
year and has been at Grace since preschool. I
believe she is receiving a wonderful education
and has made many lifelong friends. Over the
past seven years, I have helped in many areas
from classroom activities to being a chairperson
for the annual Fall Auction. As we start the
2008-09 school year, I am excited to work with
this wonderful group of women. We hope to have
a great year and do may wonderful things for the
school and church.

Amanda Aviles - Secretary/Pre-School Liason
My name is Amanda Aviles and have recently
become the Pre-School Representative of the
PTF for Grace Lutheran School. My husband Frank
and I are the proud parents of Roman, who is in
the second grade, Cruz who is in kindergarten,
and Frankie Bella our 16-month daughter. I
feel privileged to serve on the PTF for this
school year and feel blessed that I can be
involved in my children’s Christian
education. I look forward to working with the
PTF members in accomplishing wonderful things
for our children here at Grace Lutheran.
