True U is Coming Wednesday,
February 24th. This is an exciting five week DVD study produced by Focus on
the Family that will help our Junior and Senior high school students prepare
to take their faith onto the college campus or into the workplace. As part
of our new "Reasons For Our Faith" studies you will learn how to share your
faith and give some answers to the questions that people ask concerning God
and the Bible. Can we prove the existence of God, or are we left to grapple
in the dark and take blind leaps of faith about what we believe? Can you
defend your beliefs when peers and professors are challenging your
worldview? Are you very effective at sharing the amazing story of Jesus to
an increasingly secular culture that is challenging you to remain silent?
Make plans now to join us as the Holy Spirit equips you to defend your faith
and become a world changer in an increasingly hostile culture.
This course is a must for all
Junior and Senior High School students who are getting ready to leave high
school and are either going to college or are going into the workplace. It
is also a great class for all adults who desire to be better equipped to
share and explain their faith to others. This five week study will be
offered twice a week beginning on Wednesday, February 24th and Thursday
February 25th, starting at 7:00 PM in the multipurpose room. Another class
will be offered beginning Monday, May 17th. Make plans now to join us in
this exciting and life changing journey.
